My name is Tom Vierus and I am 18 years old. I was born as a german boy in Dresden, shortly before the wall fell in 1989.

18 years have passed since then and many things have happened. We moved to Berlin and then in 1997 to Trier, a small german city near the french border.

In September 2005 I went to South Africa on a cultural exchange program. I came back in the beginning of 2007 full of new perspectives and inspiration of life. I am now looking forward to exploring the world, its people and cultures.

Since mid of September I´ve been living in Mainz. I´m going to do one year school, which will enable me to study agriculture. My South African matric is unfortunately not recognised here in Germany.
