Namibia has been a german colony and that´s not difficult to notice. You find lots of germans here, next to Nambia´s original inhabitants the San people. the Ovambo, the Himba and eight more ethnic groups.(icluding the germans..)

I didn´t have a car in Namibia and its quite difficult to get around. Usually only the main cities like Windhoek, Swakopmund and Walvisbay are linked. The best is to get a car, take some time and discover Namibia at its greatest. Routes far away from civilisation let you think great and wide. But don´t think you can´t get around without a car, it´s just more challenging..
